Flu Clinics

The CDC recommends getting the vaccine as soon as it is available. Each year, thousands of people die from influenza and even more require hospitalization. All people 6 months of age and older should get the vaccine. Influenza can occur at any time, but most influenza occurs from October through May. It takes up to 2 weeks for protection to develop after the vaccine has been given and protection lasts about a year.

Although scheduled flu clinics for this season have been completed, the vaccine is still available by appointment. Call 563-886-2226 to set up an appointment to receive your flu vaccine.

Ages 6 months and up are eligible to receive the flu vaccine. Cost is $25 or Medicare Part B or Medicaid eligible (MUST present card).
