Reducing indoor allergens in your home will improve the quality of life for your child with asthma. This service will assess your home for allergen and irritants and remediate them at cost to you.

What we can do for you…

If you qualify, resources to improve your child’s environment are made available at no cost to you.  After an in-home assessment and agreement to participate in a 3, 6, and 12-month follow-up phone call, you might receive:
  • HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Accumulator) air cleaner
  • Allergen vacuum
  • Bed and pillow encasement
  • Dehumidifier
  • HEPA air filter (gas-forced air funace)
  • Fire extinguisher
  • Integrated pest managment
  • Carbon monoxide detector
  • Smoke Detector

Would my child qualify?
To qualify for this program, a family needs to:
  • Have a child or children with poorly controlled asthma
  • Be on free/reduced lunches for school OR have a form of public health insurance
  • Have a home assessment and use the product(s) provided, as recommended
  • Live in a home, apartment, or trailer, whether owned or rented
  • Agree to have 3 and 6 month phone follow-ups
